I kindly ask you to read carefully through our terms & conditions and policies below before joining our retreats. Thank you.

By purchasing a W.H.Y. Retreats you are agreeing to all Terms and Conditions stated below.

General

The Terms and Conditions laid down below, apply to any person or guest that has a commercial relation with W.H.Y. Retreats.

Bookings & Confirmed Bookings

Reservations are done via email. Non-confirmed or unanswered inquiries are not guaranteed reservations and are subject to availability. Guaranteed reservations require an email confirmation with confirmed reservation details received from us. No contract will exist between you and W.H.Y. Retreats until we receive the

400 € deposit of the required services from you. This deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation. The outstanding retreat fee is due 8 weeks prior the retreat starts.

Registration Form must be sent before the retreat start date.

The balance must be paid before the start of the retreat, prior to the given date.

Payment

The price is the exact amount to be received by us, irrespective of fluctuations in currency and irrespective of any third party transfer charges. If you choose to pay by electronic transfer, please instruct your bank to charge all costs to you in order to avoid a shortfall in the amount that we receive. We will email you our banking account details on request. Any personal information that you provide us with will be used only for the service you requested.

Cancellation by you

You may cancel your booking at any time providing that the cancellation is made by the person submitting the booking form and is notified to us in writing. Cancellation will take effect the day such notification is received by W.H.Y. Retreats.

- Cancellation made until 60 days before the starting date: 100% of the total amount refundable.

- Cancellation made until 30 days before the starting date: 50 % of the total amount refundable.

- Within less than 30 days before the starting date: 100% of the full amount is NOT refundable.

- NO refunds during the retreat process.

Unfortunately, there are NO refunds available for any reason including, but not limited to: flight delays or cancellation, health conditions, medical, personal, family, work emergencies or change of mind.

Once the retreat has begun, NO refund or part refund or unused portion of the retreat will be repaid in the event of cancellation by you. Bookings are for the stated period of the retreat. There are no refunds for an unused portion of the retreat. If the reason for cancellation is covered under the terms of your Insurance Policy, you may be able to make a claim.

If you are unable to attend the retreat, it is possible for you to find a substitute. In this case, I refund you after receipt of payment of the replacement person your registration fee (total price minus non refundable deposit) minus a 50 € processing fee. By transferring your reservation fee, you indicate that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions.

Please note:

Minimum Participants per Retreat is 8 people.

If there are less then 8 bookings, we have the right the cancel the retreat latest 30 days prior the retreat, in which case we will offer a FULL refund of all money paid within 20 working days.

In the event of cancellation due to any exceptional circumstances such as natural disasters, terrorist activity, civil/political unrest, global pandemic or travel restrictions, FULL amount or deposit will be reimbursed.

Important : Please confirm that the retreat has reached minimum capacity before purchasing your airline tickets, if required. Flights and/or additional accommodation costs and/or general travel expenses will NOT be reimbursed if we cancel the retreat.

The additional purchase of Travel Insurance is highly recommended to provide the utmost protection and to prevent financial loss.

W.H.Y. Retreats is not responsible for organising any of your travels and they have to be paid at own expense.
If the payment of either the deposit or the balance is not received by the due date, I reserve us the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.
The organiser reserves the right to offer discretionary discounts and this does not affect the booking of any registered guests who have already paid the full price and no discount will then become due to them.
The organiser reserves the right of modifications on the retreat schedule.
The retreat guest is liable for loss and all damages (house, surrounding land, pool and all facilities) which arise during the use of the yoga retreat/yoga workshop.
The customer must ensure that he/she is medically and physically fit and able to use our facilities and participate in activities.
The organiser is not liable for any failures beyond its control. (natural disasters, closure of airports, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors)

Travel Arrangements

All travel arrangements are your responsibility and at your own cost. We shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from delays or cancellations in any of the companies you may have made arrangements with, or for any irregularities in your documentation required for travel. If you arrive earlier than the first day of the retreat you will be responsible for your accommodation and transfers.

A valid Passport is required if you are leaving your home country to attend the retreat.

Note : We strongly advise you to check your local embassy and/or your destination’s official government websites for the travel restrictions in the area you plan to visit prior to booking. We also advise you to check the rules for re-entering your country. As the situation continues to evolve around the world, countries have started imposing restrictions on their own nationals returning from abroad.

Liability and Insurance

Travel insurance is NOT included in the price of the retreat and is highly recommended for ultimate protection.

W.H.Y. Retreats cannot be held responsible for any loss, accidents or/and injury within or outside the premises. All guests are advised to have their own life and travel insurance. Your travel insurance should cover the activity of this retreat as well as unexpected cancellation, sickness, losses and all the usual risks.

Any damage done to the Venues is required to be reimbursed in full by the guest.

Health

Please be sure to advise us of any health conditions before you book. If you experience any injury or discomfort during any activity during the retreat, then you must stop immediately and consult us.

We are not responsible nor liable for any retreat participant who contracts Covid (any strain) before, during, or after the retreat.

Amendments

Occasionally, changes may have to be made (e.g yoga teacher, class times, activities schedule or other arrangements), which we reserve the right to do at any time.

Our liability to you

We do NOT accept any liability for cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations, unforeseen changes in your personal circumstances or other events beyond our control.

We are NOT liable for any injuries you may incur. Yoga classes and other activities are undertaken at your own risk. We are NOT liable for any medical or psychiatric conditions which may develop during or subsequent to the retreat. We are not liable for loss of, or damage to, your personal property.

For the benefit of everyone during the retreat, we reserve the right to accept or reject any trip participant at any time without liability and in the event it determines, in its sole and exclusive discretion, that a participant is disruptive to the harmony of the retreat, it may without any obligation to pay a refund or any other amount whatsoever, expel such participant.

The retreat organizers will have no responsibility or liability for any participant who leaves the Retreat prior to its conclusion or for any activity undertaken by any participant that is not included on the Retreat Itinerary.

Complaints

If you have any problems during your retreat, please inform a member of W.H.Y. Retreats, immediately and he/she will endeavor to find a solution if possible.

Photographic & Video Release

During the retreat, W.H.Y Retreats, its representatives, agents and employees may take photographs of yourself and your property in connection with the retreat you have enrolled in and may copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically.

W.H.Y. Retreats, its representatives, agents and employees may use such photographs with or without your name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising and Web content.

If you disagree with the above, please contact us prior to the retreat.
